Unenrolling a device removes the management and all related work data from it. Learn how to unenroll your devices running Android, iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and Windows.
About device unenrollment
Unenrolling a device from Miradore removes the management and all data deployed from Miradore, but it does not remove the device from your site. In fact, when a device is unenrolled, it is kept in the device list of the Management > Devices page and continues to use a Miradore license. This way, when a previously unenrolled device is re-enrolled in Miradore, it uses the same license and device entry on the Management > Devices page as before.
Important: Unenrolling your devices does not reset them to factory settings.
Regardless of whether the device is unenrolled via Miradore or manually, unenrollment results in the following:
| Platform | Management type | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Android | Fully managed | Unenrollment is not possible. To remove management from the device, you can either wipe or retire it. |
| Fully managed with work profile | The work profile, associated data, and deployed configurations are removed from the device, along with the Miradore client. The device's status changes to Unmanaged in Miradore. |
