Entra ID integration

The Premium+ subscription plan enables you to integrate your Miradore with Microsoft Entra ID to automate device user management.

The integration automates user list management by synchronizing Entra ID user data to Miradore and ensures that the user data in Miradore is kept up-to-date near real-time. Up-to-date user lists allow you to assign users to your devices quickly and easily.


To integrate your Miradore site with Entra ID, you need the following:

  • Your site needs to have the Premium+ subscription plan.
  • You need to have admin rights on your Miradore site.
  • You may need to update the browser privacy settings to properly work with integrations:
    • Firefox: check that Custom protection settings are selected and cross-domain cookie support is enabled.
    • Safari: disable the Prevent cross-site tracking option.
    Note: You need these updated browser settings only when creating the integration on the General tab, or for making changes to the settings on the General tab. After you have set up the integration, you can return to using the default browser settings.
    Note: Creating the connection to an application can fail when using the incognito mode of the Google Chrome browser.

Fast, secure, and error-free data syncing

The integration frees you from copying or entering user data manually and using CSV files. Manual data entry is laborious, error-prone, and may violate privacy laws when managed improperly. The integration protects the user's identities and credentials. It also eliminates manual data entry errors and ensures that:

  • Synced user names are correct.
  • Synced email addresses are correct and thus enrollment emails are delivered to the correct email address.

The integration can help you to assign new hires company devices already during the onboarding and it ensures fast and successful user assignment to devices.

To integrate correct and up-to-date user data to Miradore, make sure that you have all required user information in Entra ID, such as:

  • Email address
  • First and last name
  • Phone number

User sync options: bulk import or filtered user lists

Through the integration, you can enable the automated near real-time user sync, which allows you to:

  • Bulk import all Entra ID users
  • Import specific user groups, such as the members of a department

After enabling the synchronization, added or updated user data is synced automatically to Miradore.

Note: User synchronization includes user creation and update, but user deletion is not supported yet. Miradore device user data is updated for the users who are originally imported through the integrations.
