Users of Android 10 or 11 and newer devices may see a notification saying "Miradore Online client got your location in the background" even when the location tracking would not be used.
This does not always mean that Miradore would track the device's location. Miradore will track device location only if the site administrator enables the location tracking feature.
This notification can also pop up even when location tracking is disabled, because Miradore's Android Client collects inventory data including the mobile cell ID and a list of configured WiFi networks, and this activity triggers the above notification on Android 10 and 11 and newer devices.
