The Miradore release on the 5th of April, 2023 improved the security of Self-service enrollment and brought a new feature for multi-user iPads, among other enhancements.
The Company passcode for the Self-service enrollment
Self-service enrollment is an authenticated mass-enrollment method that enables users to add their devices to MDM through the enrollment website. During the enrollment, the user enters the credentials, including a code that identifies the MDM site to enroll in.
Previously this code was a numeric Company PIN that is now replaced with a twelve-character Company passcode. The Company passcode consists of numbers and lower- and upper-case letters improving the security of Self-service enrollment. The Self-service enrollment is supported for Android, iOS, macOS, or Windows 10 & 11 devices.
