Additional Configuration Options for iOS Web Clips on The Release October 20th, 2020

This Miradore release improves the iOS Web Clip configuration in Miradore. The latest Miradore update includes also some minor improvements and bug fixes.

iOS Web Clip Configuration

There are now three new settings for the Web Clip configuration:

  • Launch as full-screen - This selection launches the Web Clip as a full-screen web app.
  • Hide Safari UI for external sites - This option is available only if the full-screen is selected. It defines if Web Clip can navigate to external URLs without showing Safari UI. This setting requires iOS 14 or above.
  • Target application bundle identifier - Defines the target application for the URL. This setting requires iOS 14 or above.
