This article explains the most common troubleshooting situations regarding Windows enrollment.
Using Windows Home operating system and the client isn’t installed. Download the client via Enrollment > Windows > Light.

Using Azure AD accounts that are linked to another MDM > Azure AD accounts have to be unlinked from the previous MDM. The error message is usually "Your device is already being managed by an organization".
If unsure, this can be checked via Settings > Accounts > Access work or school > Azure AD account > Information.
