Updated Restrictions configuration profile for iOS and macOS
We have expanded the options available in our Restrictions configuration profile for devices running iOS and macOS to give you more control over your managed devices. Apart from adding several options to the existing Applications and Device functionality tabs, we created a new tab in the configuration profile wizard called Apple Intelligence, where you can restrict the use of Apple Intelligence functions.
You can now set the following options in the Restrictions configuration profile for iOS devices:
- Applications tab:
- Deny call recording
- Deny default browser modification
- Deny RCS messaging
- Siri: Deny external intelligence integrations
- Siri: Deny signing in to external intelligence integrations
- Siri: Deny Notes transcription summary
- Siri: Deny visual intelligence summary
- Device functionality tab:
- Deny apps to be hidden
- Deny apps to be locked
- Deny eSIM outgoing transfers
- Deny iPhone mirroring
- Deny satellite connection
- Apple Intelligence tab:
- Deny Genmoji
- Deny Image Playground
- Deny Image Wand
- Deny Mail summary
- Deny personalized handwriting results
- Deny writing tools

For Mac devices, the following options are now available:

Miradore client update on macOS
We updated the Miradore client application for Mac devices to version 1.6.3 (Build 140). Previously, there was a bug where the client might have sent a notification requesting a device reboot for seemingly no reason. The notification is now only shown when a device reboot is truly needed.
We recommend you update the Miradore client app on your managed devices to version 1.6.3 (Build 140).
