This release addresses the following Android-specific issues:
Application deployment issues on newly enrolled Android devices
Deployments of the managed Google Play applications got stuck in progress on some recently enrolled Android devices.
This issue appeared after the Google EMM API update we did on the 30th of August and it has now been resolved.
Certain apps can’t be added to Miradore from the managed Google Play Store
Administrators saw an error message saying "An error occurred" when trying to add certain applications to their Miradore site from the managed Google Play Store.
This issue appeared after the Google EMM API update we did on the 30th of August and it has now been resolved.
Deployed contacts can’t be removed from the managed devices
The Contacts configuration profile allows administrators to remotely manage the list of contacts on Android devices.
There was a bug in the removal of contacts. On some devices, deployed contacts were not deleted from the contact list, although they were removed from the configuration profile.
This issue has been fixed in Miradore Client version 2.9.7 which is now available in the Google Play store.
