Message iOS device users

Administrators can notify users by sending messages to their devices through Miradore. The message appears as a notification on the device, from where the user can read the message.

Requirements

To use this feature, the following requirements must be met:

• The device must be running iOS 13 or later.
• Miradore client version 1.0.3 must be installed on the device.
• Location tracking must be enabled for the device to receive the message as a push notification from the Miradore client app.

Send a message to a single device

1. Navigate to Management > Devices and open the device's individual page by double-clicking its row in the table.
2. Select Actions > Send message.
   Result: The Send message wizard opens.
3. Enter the message in the Notification message field, then select Send message.
4. Select Close to exit the wizard.

Results: The message appears on the screen as a banner notification from the Miradore client.

Send a message to multiple devices simultaneously

1. Navigate to Management > Devices and select the devices to which you want to send a message using their checkboxes.
   Note: You can select Android and iOS devices at the same time.
   
2. Select Actions > Send message.
   Result: The Send message wizard opens.
3. Enter the message in the Notification message field, then select Send message.
4. Select Close to exit the wizard.

Results: The message appears on the screen as a banner notification from the Miradore client.
