Custom device attributes

Custom attributes are additional device data fields that you can use to store textual information about devices on Miradore.

Requirements

• Miradore Premium or Premium+ subscription
• Administrator or Editor rights in the Miradore site

Editing existing custom attributes

Administrators and Editors can click to edit the field values on the device page's Main tab by navigating to Management > Devices and opening the device page.

Adding new custom attributes to Miradore

Site administrators can add custom attributes through the Company > Attributes page.

1. Navigate to Company > Attributes and select the Custom attributes tab.
2. Select Add.
3. Enter a display name and description for the custom attribute. If you want the new custom attribute to be shown as a selectable column for sorting devices on the Management > Devices page, select this option by the checkbox.
   
4. Select Create.
5. Exit the Create Custom Attribute dialog by selecting Close.

Note: You can add up to 25 custom attributes per site.

Result: The custom attribute is visible in the Custom attributes table on the Main tab of each individual device's page. Additionally, if the Show in devices page option was selected during attribute creation, the attribute is selectable as a column on the Management > Devices page.
