This article describes the Miradore location tracking feature that can be used by customers who have the Miradore paid plan to track their devices and view device locations on a map. Location tracking supports the Android and iOS platforms. The devices start to report their last known location to the Miradore server when location tracking is enabled.
Read the platform-specific instructions on how to enable location tracking.
Viewing location data in Miradore
The collected location data is also visible in the device inventory on the Device page and via Miradore API.
View the location data for multiple devices from a large map in Home > Map. The map shows the devices that have either location tracking data (blue marker) or a manually assigned location (grey marker) available. The blue balloon depicts a group of devices. Zoom in or click the group to view device locations. Clicking the marker will open the device page of the target device.
The map shows you all of your devices and their latest location and enables company-wide location tracking.
Location history data
Miradore stores device locations for three months. To see location history, go to the Device page, maximize the map, and set date filters.
