MSP Portal: Users

Updated on January 21st, 2026

Available from the sidebar, the Users menu shows the list of users added to the selected company. This menu can be used to invite or remove other users if the user logged into the MSP Portal has an Owner role in the company.

User list

The list of users shows the following information:

  • Email: the user's email address
  • First name: the user's first name, if set on the My account > Profile page
  • Last name: the user's last name, if set on the My account > Profile page
  • Role: the user's role, which can be Owner, Admin, or Reader
  • Last login: the date and time of the user's last login

View customization

The user list can be reordered based on the column headers and the order of columns can be changed by dragging and dropping column headers in the desired position. Use the Columns drop-down menu to show or hide columns. The Reset grid action allows you to show all hidden columns with one click.

The search bar allows you to search for users by email address, first name, last name, role, and last login.

Invite users to the company

The user list only contains the company Owner by default. To invite more users with different roles, follow these steps:

  1. Select Invite.
  2. In the Invite new company member sidebar menu, enter the invitee's email address and select the role you want to assign to them.
  3. Optionally, select the Receive automatic top-up notification checkbox to enable email notifications for the user about automatic license top-up being triggered for a site.
Note: The Receive automatic top-up notification option is only visible if automatic top-up is enabled for the company.
  4. Select Send invite.

Results: An invitation email is sent to the invited user.

Note: Only Owners can invite users to the company. Users invited to the company are not automatically granted permissions for the Miradore sites imported into the MSP Portal.

Remove users from the company

To remove users from the company, follow these steps:

  1. Tick the checkbox next to the user's email address, then select Remove. To remove all users, tick the checkbox at the top of the list.
Result: The Remove company administrator sidebar menu opens on the right.
  2. Optionally, leave the default-enabled Also remove from notification recipients option checked to remove the user from the list of users that receive email notifications about automatic license top-up being triggered for a site.
Note: If the Also remove from notification recipients option is disabled, users removed from the company still get email notifications. In this case, you can remove the user from the email recipient list on the Company page.
  3. In the confirmation window, select Remove to finalize the removal.

Note: Only Owners can remove users from the company. When a user is removed from the company, their permissions to the Miradore sites linked to the company remain.

Site permissions for a user

You can see a user's permissions to different Miradore sites by clicking on their email address in the user list. As an Admin or Owner of the company selected at the top of the MSP Portal, you may change a user's permission to a site by using the radio buttons in the User role column. For more information on Miradore site permissions, see User roles and permissions.

User roles

Owner

Company Owners have full control over MSP Portal functions. They have the ability to do the following, among others:

  • Invite Admins and Readers to their companies
  • Remove users from their companies
  • Add data in the Sold licenses, Resale price, and Sold license currency columns of the site list on the Sites page
  • Have access to the Company and License management menus on the sidebar

An MSP Portal company can have multiple Owners.

Admin

Admins have the same rights as Owners, except they cannot access the Company menu, or invite or remove users.

Reader

Readers have limited access in the MSP Portal. As such, this role is most suitable for audit purposes or if support personnel needs access to a company's MSP Portal to help fix problems.

Readers have access to the following:

  • Sites, Configuration profiles, and Users page overviews
  • Account settings

Readers cannot perform management actions, such as importing sites or deploying configuration profiles.
