Apple Business Manager (ABM)

Updated on April 12th, 2022

Apple Business Manager was launched in 2018, integrating Apple Volume Purchase Program (VPP) and Apple Device Enrollment Program (DEP) into a single platform.

What is Apple Business Manager?

Apple Business Manager (ABM) is Apple’s own web portal where IT administrators can see Apple devices and app licenses purchased by their organization and assign the devices for remote management.

What are the benefits?

When used together with an MDM solution, like Miradore, ABM can automate the initial setup and configuration of Apple devices. Automation saves hours of manual work especially if your organization has a large number of devices. You can also make the MDM enrollment mandatory and deny users from unenrolling the device from remote management which both are very effective theft-deterrent features.

How do I log in?

You can log into ABM at: business.apple.com

If your organization does not yet have an account, you can create one using the Enroll now option.

What countries is Apple Business Manager available in?

You can check the availability of the Apple Business Manager from Apple's website.

What is Apple School Manager?

Apple School Manager (ASM) is just like ABM, but for schools and other educational institutions.

How do I log in?

You can log into ASM at: school.apple.com

If your school yet isn't an Apple school, you can create an account using the Enroll now option.
