Requirements

The functionality is only available on Android devices and requires that Miradore client version 2.3.19 is installed.

Steps

  1. Navigate to Management > Devices and do one of the following:
    • Select one or more devices by their checkboxes.
    • Double-click a device's row to open its details page.
  2. Select Security > Play alarm sound at the top of the page.
  3. In the Play alarm sound dialog, select Play alarm sound.
  4. Select Close to exit the dialog.

Results: The alarm sound plays on the device. It stops when the device user acknowledges the notification received from the Miradore client, or automatically after ringing for one minute. The volume of the device is set to the maximum level and restored to original settings when the alarm stops.

What to do next: You can monitor the progress of the action either on the Management > Action log page or on the device's individual page available under Management > Devices.
