The deployed files can be remotely deleted from the managed devices as well. The Premium plan also enables the remote deployment of the certificate to iOS and Android devices.
For more information, read About file management, and how to deploy certificates to iOS and Android devices.
Business policies - automation
Administrators can use Miradore business policies to automate the deployment of selected configuration profiles, applications, files and certificates to a specified group of devices. This makes business policies an effective tool for ensuring that enrolled devices are — and stay — compliant with company policies and security regulations. Automation of the often-repeated routines makes the administration work more effective.
For more information, read About business policies.
Certain configuration profiles
Using configuration profiles you can manage the settings or configurations of different device features in a remote and centralized way. Some configuration profiles are free, but to get the most out of them, subscribe to the paid plan. The following are examples of configuration profiles offered by Miradore.
- Device encryption - The device encryption configuration profile is a security feature that enables device storage encryption.
- Kiosk mode - The Kiosk mode configuration profile can be used to dedicate Android devices and Supervised iOS devices to a specific use. This mode allows restricting the device use, for example, locking it to the specified application. Administrators can define which application is launched and configure additional restrictions for buttons and device features. Kiosk mode cannot be removed by the device users.
- Location tracking - The location tracking feature enables customers to track their devices and to view device locations on a map. Location tracking supports the Android and iOS platforms.
- Passcode configuration - The passcode configuration profile forces the device user to use a passcode on the device.
- Wallpaper - You can use the wallpaper configuration profile to change the wallpaper on the Android and iOS devices.
