HELSINKI (Nov 7, 2013) – IT Lifecycle Management software company Miradore has recently announced several important new customers and partnerships, and the company foresees a 30% growth in revenue for 2013. Miradore has invested in developing its business especially in Brazil, Southeast Asia and the Nordic countries. The company has also strengthened its management team by hiring a seasoned cloud-services sales executive, Marko Ruusinen.
Marko Ruusinen joins Miradore from Pilvion, the startup recently acquired by the human resources services company, Barona. Prior to Pilvion, Ruusinen worked for contract management startup Sopima, and spent almost a decade at the IT services management company Efecte. Ruusinen is in charge of Miradore’s business in the Nordic region. In Finland, the company has recently partnered with IT services companies Samlink, BLC Protie and Tieto.
At the beginning of the year, Miradore opened an office in São Paulo, Brazil, and it has already signed reseller agreements with six major IT services companies in the country. Miradore’s software development center is located in Lappeenranta, Finland, and besides São Paulo it has sales offices in the United Kingdom and Singapore. Recently Miradore announced an international partnership with the ITSM company, Efecte, and earlier this year it became a Microsoft System Center Alliance partner as well as ServiceNow’s Certified Integration Partner.
“The growth funding Miradore raised a year ago has enabled us to take significant steps in new markets, which we identified as having the best prospects for fast growth”, stated Miradore’s CEO Kristian Jarnefelt. The funding round was led by the Finnish venture capital fund Inventure. Miradore is also participating in the YIC program run by the Finnish Funding Agency for Technology and Innovation (Tekes), which provides public funding of up to one million euros. “Miradore has end customers in 30 countries, and our goal is to have over a million IT devices managed by the Miradore solution by the year 2015,” Jarnefelt concluded.
Miradore’s software solution allows any IT organization to have an up-to-date inventory information about the organization’s IT assets such as workstations, mobile devices, servers and network equipment. The solution also allows efficient software distribution, remote management and real-time management of software licenses.
