Miradore was one of the 9 companies selected to the Grow to USA business accelerator program. This program will help Miradore navigate through the biggest risks involving the US market entry and take the right actions to scale the business as planned.
Grow to USA, a business accelerator program supporting Finnish growth companies’ market entries to the US, kicked off its February 2019 program, and Miradore was one of the 9 companies selected for participation.
Miradore already conducts business in the US and we believe we can scale the business considerably with the right actions. We plan to set up a local business to have a proper presence in the US market, localizing our operations for our US customers,” explains Janne Planting, CFO of Miradore.
This program will help Miradore navigate through the biggest risks involving the US market entry and take the right actions to scale the business as planned.
Program partners Crowe, Boardman Grow, Nasdaq, Marsh, NewCo Helsinki, Team Finland, Business Finland, Innovestor, Finnish American Chamber of Commerce and Nordic Innovation House hosted nine companies in New York for five days, to learn more about the US markets and grow their international network.
Conquering the US markets is often seen as one the most challenging goals in companies’ internationalization plans,” notes Anna-Mari Blek, director of Kasvun Roihu, the parent organization of Grow to USA. “The reason for this is that even though the US has enormous market potential, a significant share of companies’ market entries fail.”
The nine companies were Chic Mini Me, Citynomadi, Dust Shelter, Flowhaven, Granite Partners, Miradore, Safera, Smart Break and StepOne Tech.
