Looking ahead: the Miradore roadmap

In September 2022, GoTo completed its acquisition of Miradore. Since then, we have been working on a long-term roadmap that outlines a simple, secure, and flexible approach to end-to-end device management and support for devices managed by our small and midsize business customers and Managed Service Providers (MSPs).

We know that some of our customers have questions about the future of Miradore after joining the GoTo family. To help answer these questions, we’ve provided a helpful FAQ below.

What will happen to Miradore as a standalone product?

GoTo and Miradore remain committed to offering a standalone mobile device management (MDM) product. There are no plans for stopping or announcing the end-of-life of Miradore services for our customers. This is why we have continued to enhance Miradore with new offerings and features since the acquisition. To highlight a few, we just recently released support for Android COPE enrolment (Fully Managed with Work profile), support for multi-user iPads, and will soon release MacOS patching.

What does the acquisition mean for Miradore customers?

Miradore customers will be able to use our products as they are today, but they will also have the option to add or upgrade to GoTo Resolve or other GoTo products in the future. The GoTo portfolio includes a wide range of IT capabilities such as remote access, remote support, remote monitoring and management (RMM) and helpdesk, which are currently used by thousands of MSP as well as internal IT professionals around the world.

We are excited to soon offer IT leaders full management and support capabilities across devices from a single vendor and application, delivering simplified workflows and cost savings.

What are the planned product integration steps in 2023-2024?

Using a phased approach, GoTo and Miradore will bring more value to our MDM customers and IT management. As an example of what we will provide customers in the next year or so, we’ve outlined the following updates that are already planned or in progress:

    • We already introduced mobile device management as an add-on to other customers of GoTo.
    • We will be launching add-ons for Miradore customers from the GoTo Resolve portfolio, such as remote access, to our MDM customers.
    • We are investing in our world-class MDM functionality for our customers, with a special focus on increasing the integration of device management to relevant adjacent systems, such as user management, authentication, and incident management.
    • We are working on delivering a seamless multi-site management experience for partners and MSPs
