Kristian Järnefelt appointed as CEO of Miradore
– the company strengthens its resources and prepares for fast growth
Kristian Järnefelt has been appointed as the CEO of Miradore as of Oct 1st, 2010. The company also simultaneously strengthens its resources in preparation of rapid growth and internationalization of its business.
The company has also closed a new financing round. Existing owners Veraventure, some private investors and employees of the company are participating in this round as are as new investors Kristian Järnefelt and Angel Investor Ari Korhonen.
Markku Toivanen, a board professional and a current member of the Board has been elected as the new Chairman and Ari Korhonen has been elected as a new member of the Miradore Board of Directors.
Paul Palojärvi, a co-founder and previous CEO of the company will now fully focus in leading the Research and Development function of Miradore.
Kristian Järnefelt has over 20 years of experience in the ICT industry. This includes being the CEO of telecom start-up company Concilio Networks Oy. Prior to that he served Hewlett-Packard for 12 years in multiple sales, marketing and general management roles including being the Director of Marketing, Communications and Planning for Finland and the Baltics and as the last HP assignment being the Country Manager of the Baltic Countries. He was also a Management Team member of HP Finland for 5 years. Kristian is an experienced entrepreneur as well and his first company, MacImport Oy was sold to Tieto Oyj in 1992. In addition, Kristian has been a part owner or a co-founder in several other companies during his career. Kristian holds a MSc in Business Administration from Helsinki School of Economics.
