As we recently celebrated Miradore's 20th anniversary, we are looking back on two decades of building device management solutions shaped by your feedback. The first half of 2026 has been no exception, packed with meaningful updates designed to streamline your workflows, improve security visibility, and make device management even more effortless.
Here is a roundup of the key features and improvements we have released in H1 2026.
Android Improvements
Enabling App Widgets on Work Profile Devices
We heard from many of you that app widgets are an important part of the end-user experience on Android devices. You can now use a Restrictions configuration profile to enable app widgets on managed Android devices enrolled with a Work profile or as Fully managed with work profile. Please make sure to update the Miradore client to the latest version on your managed devices.
Managed Google Play Account Creation in the Background
We have removed a friction point from the Android enrollment process. The creation of a managed Google Play account no longer requires user interaction. It is now being handled seamlessly in the background during enrollment, without the device user needing to open the Miradore client. This means faster, smoother onboarding for your end users.
Windows Security
BitLocker Recovery Key History
Managing BitLocker recovery keys just got easier. You can now access both current and historical BitLocker recovery keys in the Logical disks table on the respective Windows device pages (Inventory tab). The new dialog displays recovery keys for all drives, even those that have been removed or locked, giving you complete visibility when you need it most.
API & Integration Enhancements
Assign Device Identifiers and Tags with API v2
Automation-minded admins, this one's for you. You can now use Miradore API v2 to assign identifiers and tags to your devices programmatically, opening up new possibilities for automated device organization and fleet management.
More Device Attributes in API v1
We've significantly expanded the device attributes available through API v1. Whether you're building custom integrations or pulling data into external systems, you now have access to a wealth of additional device information. Check out the Programmer's guide to API v1 for full details.
Partner Portal & Subscription Management
Partner Portal: Automatic Top-Up
We have completed the license management experience for Partner Portal users with the introduction of Automatic Top-Up. This feature allows companies to opt in to automatic license increases at individual Sites. When enabled, licenses are automatically added once per day if a Site exceeds its available licenses so that your clients’ device and license count are always on par.
License Visibility for Invoice Customers
Transparency matters. Customers using invoice payment can now see additional details about their subscription under the Subscription tab (System > Subscription), including:
- Contracted licenses: The number of purchased device licenses
- Used licenses: Licenses currently in use (updated daily)
- Remaining licenses: Available licenses before reaching your contracted limit
- Payment interval: In months
- Next invoice date: When your next invoice will be sent
